Why Joy Panorama and Joy Sense Workshops?
2020 caught us all by surprise. Our planet and humanity is under pressure. None of us could have foreseen or be prepared for the events unfolding during this first year of the new decade. The reality is that there are no experts, advisors, or gurus who can tell us how to respond, what decisions to make, or to act, as this is new to us all. We are bombarded on a personal level with provocation, fake news, half-truths, conspiracy theories, polarization causing more uncertainty, fear, and division, which ask from us to question everything, to think, and discern for ourselves. Leaders and organizations need to review and realign approaches and strategies, consider different possibilities, and navigate emerging patterns, whilst leading with confidence and trust, as linear planning becomes challenging. Neither can we control and predict any outcomes.
Making Positive Meaning
We tend to think emergency, go into a state of fear and lack, and react from a victim state during times of change, perceived chaos and disruption. We focus on what is wrong and not working. To make sense and positive meaning of events are not easy when we look at it from a world view, frames of reference, and thinking that are no longer relevant, valid, or helpful. Many wish to go back to what was and the ‘normal’. On a leadership and organizational level, cutting costs and retrenchments are used to navigate financial impact, instead of considering other possibilities, approaches, and strategies.
The good news is that we have a choice how we approach the current circumstances and navigate what shows up. We can take a pause, unplug from mass consciousness, tap into our inherent creative thinking abilities, expand our perception, and safely experiment with other possibilities, while being fully present to what is happening within and around us. Similarly, we can use all our sensibilities and intelligences, to make positive meaning and to follow the natural flow of events, rather than feeling disorientated, overwhelmed, stressed, uncertain, depressed, or disconnected. This way we harness what is strong.
What is Strong?
Turning our scars into stars, our inborn human abilities are our strengths, namely mental clarity and acuity, emotional flexibility and maturity, physical agility and stability, and spiritual (inspiration, meaning and purpose) drive and strength.
How can we nourish, stimulate, strengthen, and refine these abilities?
In Joy Panorama we share 8 downloadable, self-guided, interactive workshops, during which you can expand your perception, stimulate your creative and independently thinking abilities, begin to discern for yourself using your own sensibilities, discover your own truths, and experiment with other possibilities. Each workshop consists of a video, audios and a workbook with experimentation and practical application ideas, which you can explore at your convenience and in your own pace. We leverage themes that invite us to think outside the box and explore them in 3 different ways.
In Joy Sense, we share 8 downloadable, self-guided, interactive mini Sensemaking workshops, consisting of videos, during which you can enact, direct and apply all your inborn sensibilities and intelligences, to make positive meaning and to sense into what is busy emerging in a more integrative and holistic way. Enabling you to feel more connected, engage more authentically, have enriched experiences, participate more meaningfully, be better prepared, make informed whole system decisions, take inspired, aligned actions, and navigate what is emerging from a connected, aware, and conscious place.
